Where the action is

 

There are so many aspects to One Planet Living, that one group couldn't hope to tackle them all in one go. This is why we are intending to set up working groups.

 

Each group will focus on a particular aspect of One Planet Living, for example:

 

* Education

* Food

* Energy

* Transport

* Waste

* Housing

* Biodiversity

 

For example, we anticipate that the food group will attract interest from, inter alia, campaigning groups, organic box scemes, allotment associations, county council, farmers markets.

 

Of course, each working group will require a generous amount of good will and effort from a broad spectrum of interested parties, including church groups, schools, local government and business interests. We already have discovered pockets of expertise out there, and we're sure that there are many other groups and individuals who could help out, even if it's only in a small way.
