The One Planet Worcester logo and website started out as a "pressure project" for the final year design students. This gave the students just 24 hours to come up with a brand image and logo for One Planet Worcester.

Rod Howell from Worcester Friends of the Earth, and member of the judging panel said: "It was like dragon's den. Each group of students had to present their work to a panel of four judges, and answer questions about the designs they'd produced. The standard of the work was very high indeed, which is a credit to all the students. For us, it really was a matter of picking out the best design in a very strong field".

The following students were in the winning team: Dan James, Ceri Quirke, Ryan Dean-Corke, Kim Suleyman

A member of another team, Steve O'Rourke was also commended for producing an excellent radio ad.

Ryan Dean Corke said:
"We started this as part of a pressure project for our course work, but the assessors were so impressed by the quality of our work we ended up being contracted to complete the website. We decided to provide extra in-kind support by producing the OPW lanuch posters and leaflets. We really are pleased to be part of this new initiative"
